By far one of the most interesting musicians nowadays. His concept of jazz-fusion is already legendary. An atypical approach to sincerity when handling multicultural arrangements.

Wild latin-jazz harmonies, naked tribal influences, natural hip-hop, no euphemisms, no euphonisms. The true nature of experimental gift comes to us through this masterpiece of expression.

Many people experiments rejection when listenig to it for the first time due to his uninhibited mix of sounds. Many of them end up estimating his music after a period of adaptation.

Feel free to taste it if you have not done yet.

This band is one of the most mature expressions of young flamenco-fusion style. They started with a very personal view of arrangement and gradually tended to the sound of Ketama in an attempt to increase their commercial success. I like all their works, but very specially their first ones.

This album “túmbanos si puedes” may be their most prominent work. At least a good example of what is going on lately in Spain. A great generation of resstless musicians is tryin to work it out!!

Lyrics fall into the same concept of poetical innovation even including Antonio Machado and Lorca verses performed with respect and efficiency .

Jazzy influence is present and “Donna Lee” played on flamenco guitar (Charlie Parker style) is a good sample of it.
“El misterio de el ardilla” is something you can only listen to here.  At least I just can not remember anything similar.

This is a very intense work with a fresh and unusual concept of musical fusion.

She and her musicians compile resources from Magreb, jota (Aragón), flamenco (Andalucía) mixed with a little bit of pop and lots of latin-jazz.

Lyrics are really good and very respectful with traditional forms of spanish popular poetry.

The best work i have heard from the spanish scene since “tumbanos si puedes” (Barbería del sur) and “más” (Alejandro Sanz)
